Details: The outdoor mosquito trap “BG-Mosquitaire CO2” is an excellent mosquito killer for all mosquito species and other flying blood-feeding insects. The sturdy trap is designed to be placed outdoor, on the ground. It uses the same patented capture technology of all Biogents traps with the additional use of pure CO2, which is an attractive key element of human respiration and the most important attractant for blood-feeding insects. The BG-Mosquitaire CO2 attracts the mosquitoes and captures them with the help of a ventilator before they can reach the patio to bite you. If the trap is correctly positioned and runs continuously throughout the season, it will effectively decrease the mosquito population, and you can enjoy your patio again. A single fan sucks the attracted mosquitoes into a catch bag below the black suction column of the trap. The air stream is then diverted and exits the trap through the white upper surface. This air stream mimics the typical convection currents produced by a warm human body. To the mosquitoes the trap looks just like a human being. The contrast between the dark center and the light surface of the trap is an additional important attractive signal for the mosquitoes, and completes the capture method. Carbon dioxide from an artificial nose is added to the air stream in order to increase the spectrum of the mosquitoes captured, and maximize the capture rate. The emission rate corresponds to that of a toddler or an infant. Please note: The CO2 cylinder is NOT included! Biogents suggests CO2 from 10 kg bottles which are also used in pubs and restaurants. Such a bottle lasts for three to seven weeks depending on the flow rate used. The flow rate can be adjusted to the local situation. We recommend a consumption of about 0.5 kg/day. For an effective mosquito control, please keep in mind that it is very important to remove/empty breeding sources on your property.

Return & Refund

If your item arrives damaged, please follow the warranty process and contact our Support Center for RMA authorization within 30 days of the order being received. After returning the product to the address provided by our support team, we can send you a new item free of charge.

Warranty Exemptions and Notes

1. The shipping fee for returning the product back will be paid by the customer and is non-refundable except for in 30 day DOA situations.
2. During the return shipping, the customer is responsible for any and all customs charges, duties or tariffs during the items return to China. In these cases we will deduct the customs fees from your authorized refund amount.
3. GNZMart will by default resend the item to the customer via Flat Rate Shipping. If the customer wants to utilize a faster shipping method, the relevant shipping fee is applicable.
4. In case of any misuse, any and all repairs, accessories and shipping fees, both ways, are fully the customer’s responsibility and are at their own expense.
